The VDS System was developed in 2010 combining our passion for diving and the production resources of DANPOL. We are the pioneering company on the Polish market in the production of diving equipment and the manufacture of rings for dry suits.
The production range of DANPOL is: the manufacture of injection mouldings, CNC machining, the production and assembly of components made from different plastic types, and logistics. Thanks to continuous work on improving quality and striving to be an innovative company we are able to create new products that have opened new horizons for us.
Engineering "Know how"
The operation principle is based on the bayonet coupling system. It consists of two rings with properly shaped female and male seats. When rotated at a certain angle towards each other, the couplings seize and fasten the parts creating one complete ring. This method is much faster and easier to assemble than compression fixings used in competitors’ products. Additionally, it combines a sealing function thanks to the application of a rubber o-ring in the face panel between rings.
The bayonet coupling is usually protected with additional lockage and protects against accidental disconnection. In our products we use 3 locking pins that lock the rings in the required position while the system is being engaged.
